In 2003, blue skies & daisies had its wee start with two very excited and optimistic girls in a one-bedroom apartment armed with pots of coffee and loads of laughter.
Still only two women strong, with loads of great friends to help along the way, blue skies & daisies now celebrates its fifth year in designing wedding websites and wedding stationery for couples around the world.

Albertine De Leon
principal, the "go-to" girl, creative well, partner extraordinaire, boss #1
After a brief stint in Ontario, Albertine and family smartened up and moved to the West Coast and never looked back. All events that she experienced in her life led her, in 2002, to a surprise meeting of her neighbour's highschool buddy and 6 months later they started a company together from scratch...and the rest is, well, history.
Albertine has a bachelors degree with the University of Victoria in the department of Sciences, Computer Sciences, in her back pocket. Along with being a big nerd (pretty much the coolest nerd you'll ever meet), she is a hard working perfectionist, problem solver and intuitive listener to all couples and small businesses she has met over the past 4 years.
Albertine continues to lend herself out to little side jobs, because people can't get enough of her and she puts a smile on the face of everyone she meets.

Fall of 2002 marked Brina's official move to Vancouver (with a brief stint in Victoria) from her hometown of Courtice, Ontario and along with it, Albertine and Brina's first introduction...with the rest being, well, history.
A post secondary background in advertising and graphic design, Brina contributes everything that makes blue skies & daisies beautiful. She further challenges herself with contracts outside of the company including illustrations for several issues of Real Wedding Magazine and Modern Dog Magazine, designing books for Echo Memoirs and freelancing for small businesses and local artists.
Brina continues to nurture her talent through all the designs she creates for blue skies & daisies while never forgetting to nurture her soul through her drawing, painting and photography.
